Steps

In the app

  1. Ask the creator for their live link. There is no list of live streams in Pamojah, so you need the link.
  2. On the Feed (the house tab), tap the radio waves icon at the top right, next to the Messages bubble. It is a dot with waves on each side. The Watch a Live screen opens.
  3. Paste the link into the field and tap Watch.
  4. The stream fills the screen with a LIVE badge, the viewer count, the creator's @username and the title. Tap the X in the top left to leave.

In a web browser

  1. Open the link. It starts with pamojah.com/live/.
  2. The stream starts without sound. Tap the Tap for sound button to hear it.

Good to know

  • Tapping a live link on your phone opens the web page, not the app. To watch in the app, copy the link and paste it into Watch a Live.
  • You do not need a Pamojah account to watch in a browser.
  • The web page shows the creator's name, the title and how many people are watching.
  • If the stream has not started yet, the web page says it is waiting for the creator. The app has no waiting message. If the app stays on a black screen with the LIVE badge, close it and open the link again in a moment.
  • There is no chat on a live stream. You cannot send messages or reactions.
  • When the creator ends the live, the app shows "This live has ended". The web page shows "This live event has ended". Tap Close in the app to leave.
  • If the stream cannot be found, the app shows "This live session doesn't exist". The web page shows "This live event doesn't exist". Check the link you were sent. If what you paste is not a live link, the Watch a Live screen shows "That doesn't look like a Pamojah live link or session ID".
