Community Guidelines
Who Pamojah is for
You must be at least 13 years old to join Pamojah. Pamojah is in closed beta. If sign-up asks for an invite code, you need one from someone already on Pamojah.
What is not allowed
- Scams. No scam links, fake offers or anything meant to trick people out of money or personal details.
- Impersonation. Do not pretend to be another person, business, campaign or organisation. The For Real (FR) mark is for confirmed identities. Do not fake one.
- Harassment. No bullying, threats, hate or targeting of a person. This includes comments, messages and Drops.
- Harmful misinformation. Do not post false claims that could hurt someone's health, safety or vote.
- Sexual content involving minors. None, in any form, in posts, Drops, comments or messages.
- Copyright infringement. Only post what you made or have permission to use. Claim Originator only for content you started.
- Spam and fake engagement. No bots, bulk posting or fake accounts. Do not buy, sell or trade Street Cred votes, and do not organise groups to vote a claim up or down. Originator claims and the charts count real votes and real activity from real people.
- Wrong category on purpose. Pick the category your post belongs in. Miscategorising a post to reach a different chart or audience is not allowed.
- Drops that expose someone else. Do not place a Drop that reveals another person's home, workplace, routine or any other private location without their consent.
What happens when a rule is broken
Reports are reviewed by a person, not by an automated system. The response depends on how serious the problem is and whether it has happened before. Pamojah may:
- Remove the post, comment or Drop.
- Suspend the account for a period. A suspended account can still browse Pamojah but cannot post, comment, leave Drops, go live or send messages. When you try to post, the app shows the date the suspension ends. A live stream in progress is ended.
- Take down a page.
- Remove a For Real mark.
Repeat behaviour is taken into account. A suspended account can still be paused or deleted by its owner.
How to report
- In the feed, tap the flag icon on the right side of the video. You can also tap the share arrow, which opens Share to, then tap Report. On a Drop, tap the menu button, then Report Drop.
- Choose a reason: Spam / Bot, Harassment, Misinformation, Wrong Category, Scam Link or Copyright Violation.
- Tap Submit. The app confirms with "Report submitted".
The app can report posts and Drops. To report a profile, a comment, a message, or something the reasons above do not cover, email safety@pamojah.com with the username and, if you can, a link.
Blocking and muting
- Block. Open the person's profile, tap the menu button next to Message, then tap Block. Blocking works both ways: you no longer see each other's posts or Drops in feeds. Settings > Privacy > Manage Blocked Accounts lists everyone you have blocked. Unblocking from that list isn't available yet; while the person's profile is still open after you block them, the same menu shows Unblock.
- Mute. Tap Mute in a profile's menu, or in a Drop's menu. A muted person's Drops no longer appear in your Drops feed, in AR near you or in notifications. You can still open their Drops from a direct link. Manage the list under Settings > Content Preferences > Content Filters > Muted Accounts.
- Hide This Drop, in a Drop's menu, hides that one Drop on your phone without reporting it.
See Reporting, blocking and muting for more detail.
