Report a post with the flag on a video, or tap Share and then Report. You can also report Drops, comments, profiles, pages and conversations. Block or mute a person from the menu on their profile: a block hides you from each other, and a mute only affects their Drops.
Steps
Report a post
In the feed, tap the flag on the right-hand side of the video. If a post is open on its own screen, tap Share, then tap Report. Neither appears on your own posts.
Pick a reason: Spam / Bot, Harassment, Misinformation, Wrong Category, Explicit Content Not Marked, Scam Link or Copyright Violation. The list opens with Harassment selected, so check the reason before you submit.
Tap Submit. The app says "Report submitted" and "We'll review it and take action if needed."
Report a Drop
Open the Drop and tap the menu button (three dots) at the top right.
Tap Report Drop, pick a reason and tap Submit.
Report a comment
Open the comments on a video.
Swipe left on the comment and tap Report, or press and hold it and tap Report comment. You cannot report your own comments.
Pick a reason and tap Submit.
Report a profile, a page or a conversation
Open the menu button (three dots). On a person's profile it is next to Follow and Message. On a page, and in a conversation, it is at the top right.
Tap Report on a profile, Report page on a page, or Report with the person's @name in a conversation. Reporting a conversation reports the other person.
Pick a reason and tap Submit. Here the reasons also include Impersonation (second in the list), for an account or page pretending to be another person, business or organisation.
Block or mute a person
Open their profile and tap the menu button (three dots) next to Follow and Message.
Tap Block or Mute. The menu shows Unblock for anyone you have blocked. After you mute someone, it shows Unmute until you close the profile.
Good to know
Blocking works both ways. Once you block someone, neither of you sees the other's posts in For You or Following, Drops or Ripples. Posts they publish as a page you follow can still appear in Following. Neither of you can message the other, and any conversation between you leaves your Messages list.
Blocking does not remove someone's posts from Currents or from the list you see when you tap a hashtag, and it does not hide their profile.
The people you have blocked are listed under Settings > Privacy > Blocked Accounts. Tap Unblock next to a name, then Unblock again to confirm. The app's words: "They will be able to see your posts and message you again." You can also unblock from the menu on their profile.
Muting only affects Drops. The app's words: "Muted accounts' drops won't appear in your Drops feed, in AR near you, or in notifications. You can still open their drops from a direct link." Their posts still appear in your feeds.
You can also mute someone from one of their Drops. Open it, tap the menu button and tap Mute with their @name. Hide This Drop in the same menu hides that one Drop on this phone only.
Unmute under Settings > Content Preferences > Content Filters > Muted Accounts. The Unmute item on a Drop is only there if you open one of their Drops from a direct link.
Reporting, blocking and muting do not send the other person a notification.
Impersonation is offered only when you report a profile, a page or a conversation. If someone posts while pretending to be another person, report their profile. Posts, Drops and comments offer the other seven reasons.
