A post's position on any chart comes from the watches, shares, saves, likes and comments it received this calendar month, plus the Street Cred votes it received this month once Cred activates for it. On the 1st of the month the count starts again, for every post and every chart. The Currents header says it in its own words: every current resets monthly.

The reset is about engagement, not about when a post was published. An older post can chart this month if people watch and share it this month.

Good to know

  • Charts update on a schedule, not live. Right after the reset each chart shows No Current Yet until the next update. On that first update every post shows NEW PEAK, because nothing has a previous position yet. Pulse shows No Movement Yet until at least the update after that, because it needs two positions to compare.
  • The app shows only the current month's charts. Pamojah still remembers which creators and pages have charted before, and New & Upcoming uses that record. After you chart on Hot 100, Top 200 or Global 200, your posts leave New & Upcoming from the next month. See Currents and the charts.
  • Street Cred votes count toward the charts only in the month they are cast. The Cred figures in Chart Signals are labelled this month and count only this month's votes. An Originator claim is different: its status counts every vote the post has ever had, so it does not reset.
  • Some things on the Street Cred screen (the star tab) do reset monthly. Your Cred Budget is labelled Resets monthly, your Vote Distribution is labelled This month, and the leaderboard is titled Top Creators This Month.
  • The chart movement part of Pulse Clips works inside the same month. It compares a post's position with its position at the last chart update. Trending Polls and Trending Questions do not follow the monthly reset. They rank by the votes and answers arriving right now. See Pulse.
