Steps

  1. Open the Currents tab (the waves icon at the bottom of the screen) and pick a chart. For Hot 100, pick a category too.
  2. Tap a row. The Chart Signals sheet opens. Drag it up or scroll to see every section.
  3. Read the sections. Watch Quality: Completion rate, Replay factor and Avg watch. Sharing: Shares, Saves and Likes. Conversation: Comment quality. Current Chart Positions: each chart the post is on this month, with its rank.
  4. Tap Done to close the sheet.

Good to know

  • The sheet says it: signals are computed from engagement in the current calendar month and reset on the 1st. See Monthly resets.
  • A Cred section appears once Cred has activated for the post this month. Its rows are Net Cred this month, Upvote ratio this month and Unique voters this month. In the app's own words, Cred activates after 50 unique voters this month. Like every other signal on the sheet, these count only this calendar month's Street Cred votes.
  • If the post has an Originator claim and enough people have voted on it, an Originator row shows the claim's status. The status counts every vote the post has ever had, so it does not reset each month. The row can show even when the Cred section does not.
  • Pamojah does not show the exact signal weights. In the app's own words, they can change to keep rankings fair. It does not show who voted either.
  • The signal numbers are read when you open the sheet. The chart positions are from the last chart update, so they can lag behind the signal numbers.
  • Comment quality is a score, not a count. Longer comments count for more than short ones, up to a limit, and replies count for more too.
  • Signals Unavailable means the sheet could not load. Close it and tap the row again.
  • For the plain-language version of how ranking works, tap the circled i icon at the top right of Currents. The same screen is at Settings > About > How Pamojah Works. It is also shown once, right after you sign up.
