You can send a Public post to other apps as a link, or as the video itself when downloads are allowed for it. Tap Share on the video, then tap an app in the top row.
Steps
In the feed, tap the Share arrow on the right of the video. On a post screen, tap the round Share button by the caption.
In the Share to sheet, tap an app in the top row. If the row reads "Sharing options couldn't load.", tap Try again. You see only apps installed on your phone, plus Email, Copy link and More (the iPhone share sheet).
Pamojah shows "Getting the link", then "Downloading the video" and "Preparing the video" when sending the video. Tap Cancel to stop.
Good to know
On any post that is not Public, the top row reads "Only public posts can be shared outside Pamojah." See Who can see your post.
WhatsApp, Instagram Direct, Messages, Telegram, X, Email and Copy link send a link. Instagram, Stories, WhatsApp Status and Facebook send the video itself. Messages and More also attach the video when downloads are allowed. Instagram, Stories and Facebook may not accept the video yet.
A link opens the post in the Pamojah app when the person has it. Otherwise it opens a web page with an Open in Pamojah button. The page plays the video when others may save it. If not, it shows the creator's name and "This video is only available in the app."
If the post is later made private or removed, the link shows "This video isn't available" in the app and "This page isn't available" on the web.
A shared video carries a small Pamojah mark with the creator's @handle and ends on a short Pamojah card. A video that already has the mark is not marked again.
Video buttons are hidden when the video cannot leave Pamojah as a file. Save video is greyed out with the reason, such as "Downloads are off for this video." Link buttons still work. See Downloads and who can save your videos.
Instagram, Stories, Facebook and WhatsApp Status accept only certain video lengths. The button is hidden when the video is too long or too short.
Save video may ask for permission to add to your Photos, then shows "Saved to Photos". Copy link shows "Link copied".
A TikTok button isn't available yet.

Ripples and Drops cannot be shared outside Pamojah.
