Good to know

  • Public: anyone on Pamojah can see it. It can appear in For You, Following, search and Currents, and on your profile. Only Public posts can be shared outside Pamojah or used for a Stitch or Duet.
  • Followers Only: people who follow you can see it in their Following feed and on your profile. It does not appear in For You, search or Currents, and it cannot be shared outside Pamojah.
  • Private: only you can see it. It does not appear in any feed, in search, in Currents, or on your profile for other people.
  • Unlisted: it does not appear in any feed, in search, in Currents, or on your profile for other people. It cannot be shared outside Pamojah. You see it on your own profile. For a post, Private and Unlisted hide it in the same places. The two differ for Drops.
  • The Audience covers your post's stickers too. Only people who can see the post can see its poll and question stickers, vote in the poll or answer the question.
  • The Audience picker opens on your account default. You set that default under Settings > Privacy > Who can see your drops. For a new post it is only the starting value. You can still change it for each post.
  • Turn on Contains Explicit Content on the Details screen if your video needs it. Show Explicit Content is off unless a person turns it on under Settings > Content Preferences > Content Filters. People who leave it off will not see your video in their Feed, Currents or search.
  • People who have muted your post's category will not see it in their Feed, Currents or search results.
  • A Ripple has no Audience setting. It goes to people who follow you. See Ripples.
  • A Drop is placed with the Who can see your drops setting. You can change one Drop's audience after you place it.
