Steps

To add someone:

  1. Open the Profile tab (the person icon at the bottom right), tap the three-dot menu at the top right, then tap Settings.
  2. Under Account, tap Your Pages, then tap the page.
  3. Tap Manage admins, then tap the Add admin button (a plus sign) at the top right.
  4. Under Add as, choose Owner or Admin.
  5. Search by username and tap the person.

To remove someone, tap Manage admins, tap Remove next to their name, then tap Remove again to confirm.

Good to know

  • Owners can edit the page, post as it, and add or remove other admins. Admins can edit the page and post as it, but cannot change who runs it.
  • If you are an admin rather than an owner, the link is called Admins instead of Manage admins. It shows who runs the page, without the Add admin or Remove buttons.
  • A page needs at least one owner. If you try to remove or demote the only owner, the app asks you to make somebody else an owner first.
  • To change someone's role, add them again with the other role.
  • Someone you remove loses the ability to post as the page. Their own account is not affected, and the posts they already published as the page stay on the page.
  • Every admin can open the page from Your Pages to view it, edit it or open Insights. Insights shows views, likes, comments, saves, shares, posts and followers for the page, plus its top posts.
  • When someone follows the page, each admin sees "started following your page" in Activity (the bell on the Profile tab). It can also arrive as a push notification. The New Followers switch under Settings > Notifications > Notification Preferences controls the push notification only. See Notification settings.
  • If the only owner's account is being deleted, the page is hidden from everyone except its admins until the owner restores their account. If that account is erased for good, the page does not come back. Another owner keeps the page up. See Deleting your account.
  • A page removed by Pamojah stays hidden. Restoring an account does not bring it back.
